Krešimir Vuković on the Indo-European background of the Lupercalia (in English)

On April 04, 2024, Krešimir Vuković (University of Prague) gave a lecture at University of Naples “L'Orientale” with the title “Comparing Roman and Vedic Religion: The Lupercalia as a Case-Study”. The aim of the seminar was to illustrate the main characteristics of the ancient Roman ritual and to try to trace back some of its features to the migrations of the Proto-Indo-Europeans.
